In general, the treatment for the lesion with the diameter of 1.0-1.5cm can be completed by one needle（1cm tip）, but it is required for multiple needles treatment for the lesion with the diameter of＞2cm, in order to achieve the goal of completely inactivation of tumor cells.
Watts-controlling mode:
The setting time is 5 minutes.
Unipolar needle (19G, non-retractable, operating length: 1cm); setting power: 7-10watts, operating until the generator stopped automatically.
Unipolar needle (19G, non-retractable, operating length: 0.5cm); setting power: 5-7watts, operate until the generator stopped automatically.
Monopole needle (19G, operating length: 1cm); setting power: 3-5watts, operating until the generator stopped automatically.
Principle of power selection:
1.use high power and short time ablation for benign tumor.
2.Use low power and longer time ablation for malignant tumors.
Operating note: rotate the electrode needle when the temperature reaches to 100℃, so as to prevent adhesion.
Temperature-controlled mode:
The setting temperature is 99℃, and the setting time is 10 minutes.

1. Monitor the circumstance of the gas enhancement of the thyroid tumor by B ultrasonic, and move the electrode needle according to the circumstance of the gas enhancement during the operation.
2.Rotate the electrode needle when the temperature reaches to 100℃, so as to prevent adhesion.
