After more than 20 years of exploration and development, RF ablation technology has become another kind of therapeutic method with healing potential following surgical resection, and a micro invasive and efficient treatment widely used in benign and malignant tumors of the liver, lung, thyroid, breast, bone, kidney, gynecology and other parenchymal organs. According to incomplete statistics, up to now, there have been hundreds of medical institutions to carry out the local ablation therapy for tumors in our country, however, due to the lack of formal training and other factors, there are still large gaps in the effectiveness and safety of the ablation in different hospitals and doctors.

 

In order to improve the technical level of RF ablation of hospital at all levels, expand the applied field of RF ablation, and enhance the scientification and standardization of ablation therapy, the third session of the “Yangtze River Delta” academic forum on the RF ablation for tumors, organized by the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University Medical College, Ningbo Second People’s Hospital together, and co-organized exclusively by MedSphere International (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, will be held on April 9, 2016, in Ningbo City in Zhejiang Province. The conference invited a number of well-known experts in the field tumor ablation to do wonderful speeches aimed at the hot spots of RF ablation therapy for tumors. The experts and scholars engaged in the tumor minimally invasive ablation therapy will be invited sincerely to attend the conference to carry on the exchange and the discussion.
